    The most difficult decisions test even the strongest of wills, but his will has never wavered, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. He is Corvus, The Magistrate's Blade. He is the son of Karne, the powerful leader of the Magistrate, but it is by his own merit that he has earned the absolute loyalty of his men and instilled fear in his enemies.

    A charismatic leader and brilliant tactician, Corvus will stop at nothing to see his goals realized: a peace to surpass that of the Golden Age, under the Magistrate's rule. With the near-limitless energy of the Abyss, bent to his iron will, and those soldiers still loyal to his vision of peace, he is doing what no other is capable of. By his own strength, the Resistance will fall, and peace will be forged for the Realm's citizens, with or without their cooperation.

    [Alt-Fire] Abyssal Reconstruction Healing Target an ally to infuse them with the power of the Abyss, Healing for 350 over 0.5s and then a burst of 800 Health. Has a range of 150 units. 4s
    [Ability 1] Mark of Fate Buff Target an Ally who is to be Marked by fate. This ability can be used through walls. Can only Mark 1 ally at a time. Has a range of 250 units. Marked allies receive 55% of the Healing done to other allies. Directly healing a Marked ally will provide the following benefits:. Increase the Healing done to the Marked target by 10%. Reduce the Cooldown of Abyssal Reconstruction by 1s. The Mark will bounce to the nearest ally should the Marked ally die and will disappear on Corvus' death 2s
    [Ability 2] Projection Direct Damage / Debuff / Mobility Project a manifestation of your will forward, Piercing enemies and stopping on collision with the environment or after traveling 150 units. Deals 400 damage and Slows enemies hit by 35% for 1.5s. Can reactivate to teleport during flight and for 3s after stopping.If you choose not to Teleport, the Cooldown of Projection is reduced by 1s. 7s
    [Ultimate] Entropic Breach Area Damage / Buff / Immunity Focus your will with an iron grip to channel the dark secrets of the Abyss. Rise up into the air and gain the ability to call down an Abyssal strike that damages and Slows enemies in an area. Can be reactivated to cancel. The damage you take is reduced by 60% and you are Immune to Crowd Control while you are channeling this ability. While hovering, target the ground to call forth an explosion of energy, dealing 15% of enemy targets' maximum Health as damage and creating a charged area that persists for 6s. This area deals 6.25% of enemy targets' maximum Health as damage every 0.5s and Slows enemies caught in it by 33%. -

    The Price of Salvation Abyssal Reconstruction Heal for 60/60 over 2s after Healing an ally with Abyssal Reconstruction. -
    Ominous Relic Abyssal Reconstruction Restore 2/2 Ammo after Healing an ally with Abyssal Reconstruction. -
    Priority Targets Abyssal Reconstruction Healing an ally with Abyssal Reconstruction reduces the Cooldown of Projection by 0.5/0.5s. 5s

    So I've been playing this game for several months now, started around the battleforged pass. When they removed daily crystals I had saved up enough for the community battlepass, and I did it, did every challenge and reached level 80. It was terrible. Sure I got a bunch of crystals and chests and skins and stuff (I only really cared about the Ash skins, Lian was good too.) but god did it suck the fun out of the game. It became this huge massive eternal grind of playing training TDM (because usually my internet is not stable enough for casual) and Onslaught for challenges. It took 500k xp to gain one bp level. A TDM match will get you around 40-50k xp and a good length siege match will get you about 100k if you're lucky. I don't know about you, but that's terrible. Even if you have the personal boosters, even if you have a team booster applied, even if there's a double XP weekend you still get an insultingly low amount of XP per match. It happened with the community pass, and I was like "okay I'm never doing that to myself again" and lo and behold an amazing looking Ying skin came out in the next one and I was like "great, guess I have to grind that too".

    That time, yesterday actually, I was only able to reach level 70 which was just enough for the Ying skin. I would have liked to reach level 80 but I couldn't put myself through that. Plus I don't care for that Maeve skin. So I tortured myself again by grinding the Egyptian battlepass, sometimes my internet was kind enough to make it a little more fun but most times it was mindless training match grind or me getting a red wall in ranked, the occasional squash in casual. It's that over and over and it's not fun. And I haven't even started on the challenges.

    I want to start this off by saying I hate the character specific challenges. I want to play who I want to play, but due to basically needing to complete every single challenge on the list to get a grand total of 15 levels worth of challenges (now it's 18 levels since they made it 60 challenges instead of 50), it's hardly worth it since you barely get a good boost to your progress. In the early stages it's great because you can get five challenges in one match if you know what you're doing, and even if you don't you'll still get a bunch at once. Each challenge is worth 150k XP, and there's 50 of them. Ranging from very easy (play 1 onslaught match) to very hard (get 10 headshots in a row 10 times) and yeah, they're both worth the same amount. It's ridiculous. A nearly worthless amount of XP for that? I spent ages trying to get that. And even then it doesn't really matter, because I can get over 150k XP during a good siege match during a double XP weekend, so it's like, what's genuinely the point of doing the challenges if they barely get you any XP?

    Because you have to take anything you can get to even remotely progress on the pass. You get 5% personal boosters along the way but they're completely negligible as far as I'm concerned. Team boosters barely affect anything, as I've mentioned. And if I thought it was terrible before, now they've increased the level cap to 120 where I actually have to reach because I really want that Furia skin. And yes, now there's 10 more challenges. They're insane. Not only do I have to play as characters I don't want to play as, (Khan, Strix, Viktor, and dear GOD that Tiberius challenge, seriously fuck that. What were they thinking?) I have to do all of these god forsaken challenges to even get a lick off of this new battlepass. Sure they're "optional" and I'll probably get most of them just by playing normally anyway, but if I just play the game casually like I like to do, I'll never reach 120, let alone even something like 50. So these challenges are STILL 150k each, and the XP required is STILL 500k for each level, but now there's more levels and they still have the painfully inducing challenges like "kill this specific character with this specific character 50 times" or some insane requirements like that.

    TL;DR I like the new skins, I like Corvus, I absolutely hate how grindy the BP is, 150k xp for a challenge while each level is 500k as well as the new cap being level 120 is insane. Devs need to either increase XP gained per challenge to like 300k, increase match XP by like triple, or lower the XP requirement to level up by at least half. As it is right now, it's grindier than literally any game I've ever played, and the grind is not fun. Grind is fine if it's fun. This is not fun.
