Paladins Thoughts about the new Evie skin.

TL;DR: She has 3 skins (Troublemaker, Merrymaker, Bewitching). Not going to mention Star Glam and Black Ice because they're just glorified recolors, people are rarely gonna spend currency on that. Two of them, Merrymaker and Bewitching are in chests which appear ONCE a year or rarely for short period of time during chest sales. Of course they're not seeing much sales of Evie skins because of this reason. Since they're in chests, not direct purchasable, how can they even accurately see if these skins sell well or not? What we're left here is a three year old, decent and worth to buy direct purchasable skin, Troublemaker. The only skin which they can reliably check how much sales it generates.

I'm just gonna copy-paste here my reply where they mentioned the lack of sales of Evie skins and I believe this is the reason why.

"Evie skins don't sell well."

Of course they don't. Merrymaker, Bewitching are all locked behind a chest. They don't really "let us" buy those skins. Her latest skin, Bewitching one, the two years old skin only appears ONCE a year, near/after Halloween, rarely during chest sales or very rarely in deal of the day. Apparently Merrymaker is now also in Kawaii Collection Chest, which is a very recent thing, so she's no longer an once-in-a-year thing skin she used to be. Still, she is in chest and not direct purchasable. Star Glam and Black Ice are basically glorified recolors, not worth to mention and don't count as separate skins. Troublemaker is the only direct purchasable skin.

Let's take a look at Maeve's non-recolor skins

Demonette, was direct purchasable during event, now in chest
Street Style, was direct purchasable during event, will be probably thrown in chest
Merrymaker, direct purchasable
Pirate's Treasure, was obtainable in battle pass, will be probably thrown in chest

Now Lian

High Elf, she was made recently to be purchasable
Goddess, direct purchasable from Goddess pack or chest
Galactic Scion, chest exclusive
Merrymaker, was direct purchasable during event, now in chest
Shore Patrol, was obtainable in battle pass, will be probably thrown in chest

As you can see, these mentioned skins are/were direct purchasable at one point, they can/could get accurate sell rate statistics. The reason why "Evie skins don't sell well" is because

she only has one direct purchasable skin, (again, not counting glorified recolors) Troublemaker which was released in Paladins Open Beta. Since it was released such a long time ago, most people already have this skin at this point and not generating noticeable sales.
the decent, non-recolored skins (Merrymaker, Bewitching) are in chests, appear once in a year (or rarely during chest sale) and those skins were NEVER had the chance to be direct purchasable, thus they couldn't even analyze their sale rate. Unless it's in deal of the day but it's very rare and also it's bundled with 2 other skins/emotes/items. This doesn't show accurate sell rate either. The person who bought the bundle may not care about Evie skin in the slightest.

They would see better sale rate of Evie skins if she had more direct purchasable skins which are worth to buy. She has three, two of them are in chests, which appear once a year or rare cases of chest sales. They're measuring sales based on one direct purchasable skin which looks decent and worth to buy. Rarely people are going to buy Star Glam or Black Ice. They're just basically palette swaps, not worth to spend currency on, which also gives the impression that Evie skins don't sell well.
