    Please take shooting range out of the "Play" queue so we have stuff to do when cant get into a game

    Whether it's waiting for a game or having a desserter penalty or some other reason where we can't click the "play" button to get through just let us go into shooting range. We can mess with decks we can do aim training or we can just have fun.

    Just make shooting range a place where you can go and if you are waiting for a queue we don't have to close down the game. Keeping people in game is a good thing

    so, I'm a lvl 30 account, and I foolishly thought: man, I'm a pretty high lvl, why not try ranked?

    I now know, I was fuckin dumb. So, what could have happened? you might ask. A stupid question.

    I joined my first qualifier round, they had a lvl 50 grokh and 2 platinums: we got fucked. Wow that was bad, it must've been bad luck, I thought; stupidly, lets go again.

    I joined my second qualifier match, to be greeted with an angry Spanish man speaking in caps, wow that's pretty funny, I thought... idiotically, he then ordered me to play a tank, which I ignored.

    Then I see it... the lvl 110 koga, the lvl 90 tyra, the lvl 70 dredge, all there to make me feel like the insignificant rat I am.

    I pushed on... sure they might be better than me, but I can at least kill them a little, right? wrong. Those fuckers were pack animals, I attack one, the rest all crawl out of their fucking mole holes. Like ants, but bigger, and more guns.

    Anyway, this is a long winded way of saying id highly recommend you play ranked, I had a good time.

    I feel like this happens to me all the time as a tank. We're all alive. We all fight for the point. We get into a nice sustainable 5v5 team fight. Were doing damage and getting healed. Everyone's still alive. We're winning. And then all I sudden I turn around and my team is gone, across the map, doing god knows what while I'm alone fighting the whole team. Wtf!??!?

    Example: Game of king of the hill just now, I'm Ash, my team roles up and I ult on the point and stun FOUR of the enemy team, we all begin shooting them, they're about to die and bam. My team just fucking vanishes. Nowhere to be found. Just jacking off somewhere. I lose the team fight.

    Another egregious example: Overtime siege and I'm ruckus. I double kill the two flanks and the enemy team now has 3 people on the point. I jump on the point and fight all 3 for a solid 5 seconds... with no help (mind you I spawned AFTER my teammates and they were all alive). What were they doing? I don't fucking know. I genuinely don't know. Is there a meta I don't understand? WE WOULD HAVE FUCKING WON THEY WERE ALL ALIVE!

    Anyone else feel like this happens to them?

    Why is there no system to combat people who intentionally throw in ranked?

    Disclaimer: This is coming from a returning player who took about a 1-year break. Been playing since beta.

    Almost every game, someone on one of the teams is either feeding, making troll buys, doing awful bans, being toxic, or making shit picks. How come, despite this, you are guaranteed to play with that player again if you both queue? Why punish every single player that tries to play the game just bc their is ONE outlier. One team gets the easiest, most boring win ever, and the other team has the most frustrating loss ever.

    And just a quick question: Has anyone EVER been banned for anything outside of hacking? I highly doubt any reports for feeding have been taken seriously, ever smh. It's so hard to climb ranks in a game where almost no one plays, so you're constantly playing with the same trolls everyday. I would love a rework to the matchmaking in ranked, even if it takes 5 fucking hours to queue into one match. When you don't have a 5 stack, it feels impossible to make any genuine progress anymore.

    I do NOT recall ranked being in this much of a terrible state, at all.

    Ava, the Iron Phoenix

    Front Line

    3500 Health

    365 Movement Speed

    Primary Fire: Razor Plume

    Send forth a flurry of razor sharp feathers in a small circle in front of you.

    Fires a total of 8 feathers every 1.2 seconds, each dealing 80 Direct Damage for a total of 640 Direct Damage.

    Intended for short/medium range combat.

    One burst of 8 is considered 1 ammo.

    Maximum ammo count of 6.

    Reload speed of 2.2 seconds.

    Secondary Fire: Gyration

    Spin your wings rapidly in a circle, sending a barrage of feathers outward.

    Deals 350 Area Damage in a 35 unit radius.

    Enemies caught in the radius will be prevented from healing if they move. If they don't move, they can heal as normal.

    The effect lasts for 3 seconds.

    Casting Gyration while Featherguard is active will end the duration of Featherguard.

    Cooldown of 15 seconds.

    Ability 1: Featherguard

    Expand Ava's set of wings, reducing the damage allies take by 75% when the enemies shoot through the wings.

    The wings are translucent like shields, but can be shot through and do not have a health pool.

    If the wings are attached to Ava and not deployed:

    • One wing will expand on each side of Ava, protecting enemies behind her.
    • Grants Ava a 3500 health-shield for the duration. Destroying the health-shield before the duration is up will end the ability early.

    If the wings are deployed and not attached to Ava:

    • The wings are held together by a fibrous rod between them. The rod has 3500 health. Destroying the rod before the duration is up will end the ability early.
    • The rod is affected by Bulldozer.

    Duration of 8 seconds.

    Cooldown of 12 seconds.

    Ability 2: Tactical Deploy

    Passive: Ava takes 10% reduced damage while her wings are attached.

    Deploy your set of wings on the field.

    Ava rushes forwards, detaches from her wings, and rushes back to her previous position.

    Ava is invulnerable while dashing forwards/backwards.

    The wings are held together by a fibrous rod in the center.

    If the rod is destroyed the duration ends and the wings return to Ava.

    The rod has 3500 health and is affected by Bulldozer (as mentioned before).

    Gyration and Featherguard will activate at the location of the wings instead of the location of Ava if the wings have been deployed.

    Cannot deploy/reattach while Featherguard is active.

    If the duration of Tactical Deploy ends while Featherguard is active, Featherguard's duration also ends and the wings return to Ava.

    Can deploy up to 100 units away.

    Duration of 20 seconds.

    Cooldown of 15 seconds.

    Ultimate: Targeted Repositioning

    Soar into the sky, gaining an overhead view of the playing field and becoming untargetable.

    Take up to 3 seconds to target an enemy player, then dive down, grab the enemy with your talons, and soar back into the sky.

    If the player fails to target an enemy within the 3 seconds, no enemy will be grabbed.

    Then, take up to 3 seconds to target an area on the field, diving down again and slamming the enemy to the ground, dealing 850 Area Damage to and stunning enemies (including the one grabbed by her talons) for 2 seconds who are caught within a 35 unit radius.

    If the player had not grabbed an enemy with Ava's talons, Ava instead dives down to the targeted area and deals 500 Area Damage and stuns enemies for 1 second within a 45 unit radius.

    Talents:

    Aerodynamic

    Ava gains 25% increased movement speed when her wings are detached.

    Will of the Phoenix

    Ava automatically deploys her wings and casts Featherguard at her location upon death, independent of any active cooldowns. Ava gains 30% ultimate charge upon death.

    Laceration

    The damage dealt by Gyration increases by 150 for every enemy within its radius. Radius increased to 40 units.
