    Drophacks are back

    I don't know if it's new, but they are indeed back and I haven't seen anyone mention it.

    For newer players, drophacks are a program making games crash for every player. It's very useful in Ranked when you're losing. If you're about to win and you get sent to the login menu, it's a drophack.

    Drophacks were very common two years ago, but HiRez implanted DNS protection or something and they stopped.

    Not anymore.

    It happened to me earlier today. We were winning 3-1, at 96%, and the whole team got disconnected, meaning it's as if the game did not exist. It's not in my history of course. I asked a tech savvy friend who shall stay anonymous if he could try and drophack a game, he had no issues doing it, while he hadn't been able to do it previously.

    According to him, it means EM either did not renew its protection, or something is really wrong...

    This has the potential to ruin the Ranked experience.
