    Can we finally do something about card-dependant supports?

    Remember when the update for supports landed, which aimed towards making support characters much less reliable on certain cards to do well? I'm talking about cards such as cooldown reduction cards for Furia and Seris (on their primary heal). Well... Few characters still suffer severely from this, resulting in very little to no freedom come to building them your way.

    Jenos is a perfect example. If you do not rock very specific cards in your load (which, mind you, take 12+ points), chances are you will severely underperform. You just HAVE to rock extra duration, cooldown and range, or it's living hell to keep your team up. Solution? Incorporate either of the cards in base kit, and further power shift stuff if necessary. What this does is keep the power of character at about the same level, while allowing players to have more than 3 card points to spend on cards they actually want to use. On the other hand, take likes of Io. Here you're also forced to run specific cards (Moonlight 3+, resource generation 4+, self-sustain 3+). That leaves you with 5 points to choose whether you want a bit more of upper or a bit more defense. Tree is also super dependand on his cards to perform well, but my opinion is that he's just designed in such way he'll never be able to "feel right" with singular healing ability on 10s of starting cooldown. On the other hand, if you want heals Ying, you only have to get one card to 4 or 5. Remaining points are absolutely free for whatever you like. Same goes with healwave Furia. Just one card at 4 or 5 (to add more consistency), rest is free.

    While I am aware that some power shifts happened for these characters (like Grover having base range buffed but card got nerfed), Jenos and Io (and Corvus, possibly), still remain too dependant on their cards to make any freedom loads almost an impossible thing to do well with.
